The Durable Ledger

Disclosure

What this site is

Every article on The Durable Ledger documents a real purchase I made with my own money. I write about why I chose a particular product, what I was trying to solve, what I researched before buying, and what ownership has actually been like. That is the entire scope of the site.

I do not review products sent to me. I do not accept sponsored placements. I do not write about things I have not bought and used myself. There are no exceptions to this.

Affiliate links

Some articles contain affiliate links — typically to Amazon or Nordic retailers. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

Affiliate links serve two purposes: they make it easier for you to find the product, and they help cover the cost of running the site. They do not influence what I write or how I assess a product. The purchase came first. The writing came second. The affiliate link, if it exists at all, came last.

Not every article has an affiliate link. Some products are not sold through any program I participate in. The presence or absence of a link has no bearing on how I rate something.

Prices

Prices in articles are what I actually paid, in the currency I paid in, at the time of purchase. Current prices are noted at the time of publishing. Prices change — always check before buying.

Regulatory note

This disclosure complies with the Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) guidelines, FTC guidelines (USA), and ASA regulations (UK) on affiliate marketing and sponsored content.
